The full English breakfast we were provided was delightful. Pencester Gardens was placed at a small distance. The bed was comfortable, best sleep ever. A huge variety of various drinks, such as coffee, fruit juices and tea in the bar.

The view from our room was absolutely stunning, with breathtaking cliff views that added a romantic touch to our escape. We also appreciated the fact that the hotel was conveniently located near the ferry port, making it easy for us to catch our early morning ferry. the complimentary bottle of wine provided for my birthday was a lovely surprise and added a special touch to our stay.
We have to mention that the hotel itself was quite tired and in need of some refurbishment. The carpet in the bathroom was not in the best condition, and the shower was incredibly small and difficult to maneuver in.

Lovely stay for a romantic escape. Enjoyed the stunning view from the room and the delicious breakfast options. the historic location was a plus and the host was helpful with local recommendations and offered great customer service.
The room could have been cleaner and the bed was uncomfortable. the lack of amenities in the room was also disappointing.
